Technical inspections (VTU; VT-AF)

CNCIR performs technical verifications in order to authorize the operation and technical verifications in use at the installations and equipment provided in Annexes 2 and 3 of Law 64/2008, with the subsequent modifications and completions.

CNCIR performs the technical verifications through the Inspection Body CNCIR-OI, which is the only inspection body accredited in accordance with SR-EN ISO CEI 17020: 2012 „Conformity assessment. Requirements for the functioning of different types of inspection bodies ”in Romania, in the voluntary field.

 
  • Cranes with nominal load > 1 t, except those with manual operation, regardless of the rated load;

  • Self-propelled forklifts and forklift transducers, except those operated manually, regardless of the rated load;

  • Unmovable/movable lifting platforms for people, regardless of the rated load, platforms for materials with a rated load > 1 t, except for lifting platforms for people with disabilities;

  • Lifts for vehicles, except those operated manually, regardless of the rated load;

  • Vehicle parking systems with lifting platforms;

  • Lifting equipment for fire-fighting and rescue;

  • Lifting mechanisms with a rated load > 1 t, except those operated manually, regardless of the rated load;

  • Lifting machines in which, constructively, there is the possibility of mounting several types of load-bearing elements and which can work in permanent/non-permanent regime of crane, forklift, lifting platform and the like, regardless of the rated load;

  • Lifts, other than those intended for the transport of materials with a rated load < 100 kg;

  • Cable and inclined transport facilities for persons/materials;

  • Moving escalators and sidewalks;

  • Lifting mechanisms and installations for theatres (performance halls), other than those operated manually, regardless of the rated load;

  • Amusement park equipment;

  • Other lifting installations (special construction elevators for materials, elevators for construction sites, etc.).

  • Cranes and hoists serving pressure systems classified as part of nuclear safety systems;

  • Pressure installations/equipment and conventional lifting installations/equipment referred to in letter A, specific.

  • Steam boilers with P > 0.5 bar;

  • Hot water boilers with pressure x volume> 60 (bar x litre);

  • Containers, except for those of category I established according to the provisions of the Government Decision no. 123/2015 on establishing the conditions for making pressure equipment available on the market, with subsequent amendments;

  • Low pressure steam boilers ≤ 0.5 bar;

  • Hot water boilers with rated power> 400 kW;

  • Metal tanks and containers for compressed, liquefied or dissolved gas under pressure, except those regulated according to the provisions of Government Emergency Ordinance no. 126/2011 on transportable pressure equipment, approved by Law no. 90/2012;

  • Pressure metal pipes for fluids, of categories I, II or III established according to the provisions of the Government Decision no. 123/2015, with subsequent amendments;

  • Installations for liquefied petroleum gases – LPG;

  • Installations for compressed natural gas – CNG;

  • Installations for compressed natural gas for vehicles – CNGV.

  • Pressure-retaining systems and components classified as part of nuclear safety systems;

  • Nuclear safety pressure systems with minimum pressure = 1.03 bar;

  • Pressure retaining components according to technical regulations.
